Cash Today Estimator: What a Factored Invoice Pays Today vs Later

Factoring quotes talk about rates. Your bank account cares about what arrives today. Enter one invoice and your factor's terms to see the money that lands now, the reserve that comes later, and what the whole thing cost. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.

The numbers already filled in are made-up examples, not any company's terms. Use the numbers from your own written factoring agreement and fee schedule.

3. Fuel advance on this load (optional)

4. Compare with broker quick pay (optional)

What arrives, and when

How the math works

  • Advance = invoice × advance %. The reserve is the rest of the invoice.
  • Today = advance − per-invoice and transfer fees − any fuel advance you already received on this load − its fee − the factoring fee (if your factor takes it from the advance).
  • Later = reserve − the factoring fee (if your factor takes it from the reserve). It's paid after the broker pays the factor. If the fee is bigger than the reserve, the difference comes out of today's payment.
  • Total cost = factoring fee + per-invoice and transfer fees + fuel advance fee. Your fee schedule may have others, such as monthly minimums; add those in the factoring cost calculator.

Factors differ in when they take the fee and how they release reserves, so check your agreement. Some factors advertise no reserve, which in this tool means an advance of 100%. This is an estimate, not an offer or financial advice.
